Pornichet is a city in the west of France, located in the heart of the department Loire-Atlantique and region Pays de la Loire. Ideally located, Pornichet became a city in 1900. Its inhabitants (called the Pornichetins) became very attached to the charm and character of their town. Pornichet was once a small village but sea bathing became popular and changed the village in the 1880s. Initially reserved for an elite for the benefits of the ocean, the arrival of the railroad enabled to spread this practice to a larger number of people and also to transform the city into a real holiday resort. Today Pornichet has become a famous destination for a holiday rich in discoveries, cultural activities such as contemplating the sumptuous villas that have made the bay famous. The 3 beaches, Sainte-Marguerite, Bonne Source and la plage des Libraires have their own atmosphere: family oriented, peaceful or animated.

Guerande the medieval
Guérande is a name derived from the Breton (language in the Brittany region) "Gwenrann" which means "White Country", beloved city of the Dukes of Brittany. The city dominates two very contrasted countries: the White Country with its salt and salt marshes and the Black Country with its peat and its Regional Natural Park of Brière.
Guérande has also inherited the atmosphere of medieval cities like no other. It is still surrounded by 1,334 km of ramparts and is today renowned both for the quality of its monuments and for its salt marshes, which cover nearly 2,000 hectares.
Behind its ramparts, the atypical houses underline the Celtic imprint of this city labeled “City of Art and History” since 2004. The city also belongs to the pretigious "100 most beautiful detours in France".
